WHO MIGHT NEED A VACANT HOME?
Agreements
- Occupy at your own risk, vacant and abandoned houses may have structural issues, disconnected services, broken windows/doors ect.
- The occupier may, if noted by property owner in listing, make modifications to the house e.g. painting, fixing broken walls/roof/windows but should avoid major modifications unless allowed by owner.
- Refer to the 'Occupiers Handbook' for illustrative examples of how you might occupy vacant houses in a temporary manor, dealing with privacy, division of space, connecting/creating services ect.
Note: not every vacant house will require 'The Kit' and may only require minor adjustments like painting
walls.
